As Betty Lawson begins her 12th year of service with MMI, her attitude and spirit remain strong. Betty was MMI’s first medical volunteer and quickly became the “go-to person” for volunteers when sorting and packing. Over the years she’s spent countless hours training and supervising volunteers, even though she much prefers the focused work of sorting, counting, and packing boxes. Her sacrificial service has been an integral part of MMI’s growth and success. Betty often says that as long as God blesses her with health, she will spend her Mondays and Wednesdays at MMI. This perspective exemplifies Betty’s level of commitment to MMI’s ministry around the world!
