My name is Carol Lee Treadaway. God planted me at MMI about a year ago, and it has truly been a joy to work alongside other volunteers who share the common goal of serving others. Being able to be a part of the MMI ministry is a privilege, a sacrifice, and a blessing all rolled up together.

On a personal note, 2 ½ years ago, my husband of 46 years, went home to be with the Lord. Missing him, and feeling alone in a big house in the Coarsegold mountain area,
I decided to move into a Senior apartment building here in Fresno. I feel safer and happier surrounded by people and activities, and I am very glad I made the move.
God provided me with a lovely little apartment where all my needs are met.

I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren – all of which live within visiting driving distance. But, even with them close by, being alone, leaves one with a lot of spare time. In my Church bulletin, I read a note about a need for volunteers at MMI; I decided to check it out.

From my 1st day at MMI, I knew I wanted it to be a part of my life. Working with others to send medical supplies to needy communities around the world, touches my heart profoundly. I am grateful to God for the opportunity to serve.
