Brooke Nakashima, RD, CSRBoard Member | Travel Teams Coordinator
With a heart to serve and a passion for the mission of MMI, Brooke has been MMI’s Travel Team Coordinator for our trips to both the Solomon Islands and Fiji. The Lord called Brooke into medical missions at a national mission conference in 2003. After meeting Tom and Nancy at a missions fair in 2011, Brooke began volunteering at MMI. In 2012, she joined the medical mission in The Solomon Islands. It was there that the Lord graciously showed her that by providing basic healthcare to the people of The Solomon Islands, their hearts were opened to the Good News.

Brooke has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Fresno State and has been a registered dietitian since 2006. She specialized in nutrition for kidney disease, geriatrics and developmental disabilities. For fun, Brooke enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, and lattes from Two Cities Coffee in Clovis.
