Rachel Kenny is an amazing young woman who is leaving her mark on MMI… and the global community! As a volunteer staff member at MMI, Rachel holds a high level of responsibility as our Director of International Clinics. She works diligently to provide oversight for quality care and patient education… and does an amazing job! Although Rachel has been surprised by her God-given role at MMI, she shouldn’t be! This is because in the spring of 2012, before she entered the nursing program at Fresno State, Rachel had the opportunity of going to an orphanage in Haiti, where God transformed her heart and shifted her passion to serve and love His people across the world. Rachel encountered MMI in the fall following that trip to Haiti. She began volunteering at the Clovis warehouse then joined the medical teams going to Fiji and the Solomon Islands in 2013. After this life-changing experience, God opened the door for her to become a part of the MMI team as one of the overseas clinic leaders. Currently, Rachel is in her last year of the nursing program and will graduate in December 2015. Rachel says, “I am excited to continue pursuing the Lord’s calling of medical missions as I become and RN!” Rachel is a bright light and a gift to all who serve alongside her at MMI!
