Our MMI guest speakers this year are Pastors Rusiate and Sai Turaga.   Rusiate and Sai are people with an infectious personality with warm and huge hearts.   For those of us who have not met them, we hear we will never forget them.
Rusiate and Sai are actually Fijian from Fiji.   They were called to be missionaries to the Solomon Islands for Evangelical Explosion (EE).  Pastor Rusiate is the Director of EE for the Solomon Islands.  They will be traveling all the way from the Solomon Islands to Fresno to be our guest speakers.
Tom and Nancy Stoeckel share that they were urged to visit the Solomon Islands because of the extreme need on that island. Through a series of events they met Pastor Rusiate and his wife Sai.
Five years later, Tom and Nancy have made 5 MMI visits to the Solomon Islands and have formed a deep friendship with  them.  MMI has had the privilege of building a thriving church and medical clinic in the remote village of Verakabikabi.
Currently, MMI has a new construction project  in Malaita.   Come hear Pastor Rusiate and Sai talk about this new project at the Gala and pray about joining the MMI Medical and Construction Team for July 2018.
