As one of MMI’s long-term volunteers, Carol Banuleos has played a critical role in the organization’s growth over the last nine years. Prior to her service with MMI, Carol worked as a Pediatric Nurse at Valley Children’s Hospital. Her 25 years of medical experience, coupled with her knack for paying close attention to detail, have made her a great asset to the MMI medical team. She has been with MMI through two major procedural changes and provides continual oversight at our sorting warehouse to ensure that items are labeled accurately. Carol enjoys serving at MMI’s Clovis warehouse because of the great atmosphere and the friendships that she makes as the volunteers work together. She also enjoys being able to use her skill set to give back. “I really like it here because I’m using what I was trained to do,” said Carol. “It’s physical and active and we are working on something that makes a difference.”
